What drives you to be an entrepreneur?

For me it's the freedom. Having the ability to dictate how I live my life is very important to me. It allows me to be creative and think outside the square to solve problems to improve others' lives.

Tell us about your brands and Things you've learned along the way? 

I started The Good Human Factory back in 2020 because I wanted to use the mindset skills I learned as an athlete to inspire others to develop strong skills. I saw a gap in the mental health industry with such a focus being on the negative side of things. I wanted to change the way the world thinks about mental health. 

I have learnt so much along the way. An important one is to not get disheartened when you make mistakes or run into obstacles. I now love mistakes as I learn from them and cause me to grow.

Also just being very proactive with networking and making sure you offer value to those around you. Acts of service without any expectation of it being returned has opened so many doors for me.

What does a day in your life look like?

I try and wake up at 6 and make a coffee and go for a walk on the beach for sunrise. Then do a 20-minute meditation, read for 30 and then a 20-minute breath work. 

 Then I go to work and send emails, pack orders of merch, work on projects etc. It changes every single day based on the commitments I have.

What drives you to help other people?

I have been so lucky to live the life I have travelling the world as a pro surfer; I just felt the need to give back. I have learned that helping people is the purest way to create happiness so chose to base my life around this understanding and awareness.

What’s next for good humans? Any exciting news on the horizon?

 Right now, the goal is to be presenting my workshop to as many students and corporations as possible. I also have some big goals to grow my podcast and keep having deep intertwine conversations with and learning from inspiring humans.

 I am also about to launch a huge giveaway and fly 2 people to the snow to spend a weekend with me and our 2 Olympian snowboard ambassadors. Keep an eye out.
